THE first restaurants taking part in the upcoming Aberdeen Restaurant Week have been revealed.

Angus & Ale, The Spiritualist, No.10 Bar and Restaurant, The Craftsman, Tippling House, Cafe 52, Native Restaurant at Hilton Garden Inn, Cafe Boheme, Molly’s Bistro, Selera Malaysia Bistro, Ninety-Nine Bar & Kitchen and Kirkview Cafe will showcase what they have to offer during the initiative, which aims to increase footfall to local establishments at traditionally quiet times of the year.

With more than 40 restaurants signed up so far, organisers Aberdeen Inspired are urging more eateries to get on board.

Nicola Johnston of Aberdeen Inspired said: “We had a fantastic response from the public to the launch of Aberdeen Restaurant Week last year, and can’t wait for them to experience new elements we have introduced for next month. These include afternoon teas, drink pairing menus and tasting menus, so something for everyone to enjoy in addition to the fixed price menu. There is still time to get involved, so we would encourage any restaurants to get in touch if they are keen to take part.”

Ewan McLean of The Spiritualist, said: “The Spiritualist is delighted to be part of Aberdeen’s Restaurant Week.”

Taking place from Monday 4 February to Sunday 10 February Aberdeen Restaurant Week includes a two-course lunch priced at £10 per person and three-course dinner for £20 per person.
