The National:

HERE’S a question for you. What do Estonia, Colombia, Iceland, Pitcairn and Tristan da Cunha all have in common?

Well, they’re all mentioned in the draft text of Theresa May’s Brexit agreement.

Do you know who’s not mentioned in the deal? That’s right, us.

LISTEN: Tory MP makes bizarre Brexit claim on radio - then apologises when caught out

“Not once, Prime Minister, have the unique characteristics of Scotland’s devolved settlement been worthy of mention” Ian Blackford thundered in the Commons this morning.

May told him that Scotland was not specifically mentioned because “Scotland is a part of the United Kingdom".

A spokesperson for Brexit Secretary Michael Russell told us: “The Tories have treated Scotland with nothing but contempt all the way through the Brexit process – and the text of Theresa May’s plan proves it.

“Dozens of countries are referenced – even Pitcairn and Tristan da Cunha get a namecheck – but Scotland doesn’t warrant a single mention.”

But which other countries are mentioned in the Withdrawal Agreement? Well luckily for you, we have done the hard graft and spent hours looking through all 585 pages.

Ladies and Gentlemen we present the comprehensive list of every country and territory in the text of May’s Brexit deal, and how many times they’re mentioned.
