Following more disruption from Storm Corrie and Storm Malik, the Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning for wind across Northern Scotland.

The warning is in place from 6am to 6pm Tuesday, February 1 as the Met expects there could be short-term power loss and more.

The office has also said that it is possible that some coastal and seafront areas could be affected by spray and large waves caused by the strong winds.

Across the region, winds could reach heights of 65mph during the late afternoon and lows of 25 mph during the night.

Regions that will be affected by the strong winds include Aberdeen, Dundee, Moray, Angus, Highland and the Orkney Islands.

Ahead of the warning coming in place tomorrow, the Met Office suggests that all loose objects including garden furniture should be secured.

Fasten doors and windows, particularly those on the windward side of the house, and large doors included garages.

You should also park vehicles in garages if possible or keep them clear of buildings and trees.
