My Baby’s Life: Who Decides?, Channel 4, 9pm

THE second of two documentaries raising questions about the quality of life for children being cared for by the NHS. Quadriplegic Ellie-May, 12, has multiple complex problems – and while her mother has fought the system to get her the treatment she needs to survive, doctors question whether her quality of life is enough to justify the suffering and cost involved in keeping her alive. Baby Olly was born with a rare chromosomal disorder – his parents want to do everything to treat their child as hospital staff try to convince them to look at alternatives.

BOABBY has taken up walking football and is getting match fit for an important game at the weekend. But when the landlord’s sporting career is cut short, Jack and Victor are forced to step into the breach. However, when their first game – a friendly against rival pub the Claymore – doesn’t go to plan, the duo and their team-mates embark on a rigorous Rocky-inspired training regime and employ a few interesting new tactics. Comedy, written by and starring Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill.

Civilisations, BBC 2, 9pm

MARY Beard explores how for thousands of years artists have made religious images, looking at the fundamental problem that all religions share in making god – or gods – visible in the human world. The professor visits sacred sites across the world, including the temple of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the Buddhist caves of Ajanta and the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, as she shows how faiths tread a careful line between glorifying god in images and blasphemy by daring to represent the divine.

Celebrity Juice Live, ITV2, 10pm

EVEN the repeats of Keith Lemon’s panel show can feel anarchic, so the non-pre-recorded episodes have an “anything goes” feel to them. Yet ITV2 are bravely kicking off the new series with another live one-hour special. At least team captains Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby are used to dealing with Lemon and the demands of live broadcasting, and they’re joined by another Celebrity Juice veteran, Gino D’Acampo. But does guest panellist Georgia “Toff” Toffolo know what she’s letting herself in for?
